Align & Build UbiSim Scenarios

Identify which UbiSim VR scenarios align with your program goals and which scenarios you need to build. 

UbiSim has over 50 pre-made scenarios built entirely for nursing—everything from mental health to pediatrics. These scenarios align with INACSL’s HSSOBP and prepare learners for the Next Gen NCLEX. The first step to a successful implementation is to look at your program, department, or course goals and curriculum and map each scenario to them.

If your program or hospital has additional needs beyond the pre-built scenarios, UbiSim has an Intuitive Editor that enables users to easily customize and create their own scenarios. There’s even a “By the Community” section where other institutions share their custom-built scenarios.

Setup Your VR Lab

UbiSim provides personalized guidance on everything, from headset procurement to thinking through your VR space and maintenance.

Your trusted Customer Success Manager will walk you through how to obtain Meta Quest headsets and help you plan your space where students or trainees will be in VR. 

To get started, all you really need is:

• A clear 7x7 foot space for each learner in VR
• A VR headset for each learner you would like to be concurrently in VR 
• A computer (desktop or laptop) for someone (a peer or faculty) to trigger dialog
• A stable WIFI connection

UbiSim can provide tips for storing, cleaning, and charging headsets.

Train Nursing Faculty and Administrators

Learn how to run a VR scenario, create new scenarios, conduct post-scenario debriefs, and assess results. 

UbiSim offers training to meet the needs of all of your staff, from nurse educators to directors.. This training will cover every aspect of the platform, such as using the Intuitive Editor, debriefing, and assessing results. It can help small teams, large teams, and everyone in between.
