Prepare Your Students for Rural Patient Care Like U. Buffalo's REACHvr Program | Webinar
Join our CE Webinar hosted by Lance Bailey of HealthySimulation.com with featured guests Dr. Kelly Foltz-Ramos and Dr. Melinda Haas of the University at Buffalo.

What to Expect
The University at Buffalo School of Nursing is transforming nursing education with REACHvr, a virtual reality program using UbiSim that is designed to prepare students to serve rural and underserved communities. Through the REACHvr program, Dr. Kelly Foltz-Ramos and Dr. Melinda Haas immerse students in realistic clinical scenarios that mirror the challenges of resource-limited settings. By combining VR simulation with online modules and a virtual screen-based telehealth case, the program equips future nurses with the critical thinking, adaptability, and compassion needed to improve healthcare outcomes in these regions. As clinical site shortages and healthcare disparities persist, REACHvr offers a scalable, engaging solution to train the next generation of nurses where they’re needed most.
